Chapter 15
There was nothing to wait for after the drug dealer's identity has been uncovered. Sabrina picked the deal with Mr. Nimble Fingers at the point she had left it. Punching the name into her phone and sending it over to the information broker was filled with anxiety as she could not help wondering what the response would be. She imagined what the drug dealer would look like, and wondered if he was someone she had met or walked past before.
While waiting for feedback from Mr. Nimble Fingers, Sabrina saw Fernandez walk into the class. He had a few other students to greet before his attention came to dawn on her. He waved at her, but she was not in the mood to entertain him, especially when she did not have an exact use for him. She waved back at him, then gestured to him that they would talk later. He shrugged and went over to his seat.
After some few moments, Mr. Nimble finger responded to Sabrina's request â- any detail that could be gathered about the provided target was asked for. She cleared the bills and waited for the delivery which arrived about thirty five minutes later. At first, she had wondered how fast that was done, but then it did not matter, as long as she got what she asked for. Another reason that helped wave off her thought was the fact that it was school hours, probably that aided the information gathering process.
She opened the PDFs that were sent and her heart stiffened as she saw the face of the supposed Black Opz for the first time. She treated his picture like that of a wanted suspect as her mind quickly flashed back to the things that were said about him in Brooke's diary. He was a wanted suspect to her, after all. Snuggled into her seat at the last row, she continued scrolling through the pages of the files sent to her. There were general details, fitness reports, personal bio-data, and grade reports. She had more than enough to munch on as she treated every bit of data importantly. To her, she was ready to discover, and keep to heart, everything about the drug dealer; it was as if some kind of revelation would pop out from the details.
One of the most intriguing things about Amaan was the fact that he was a course B student. Sabrina was not surprised that his school performance was only average, but the fact that he did not come from a wealthy home was a new one. She could not believe her eyes at first, it was as if she just picked a ship at an airport. In fact, she told herself that his school grades being average were more of the lie than his poor background. But there was no way the details would be adulterated, there was no reason anybody would do that. She wondered if he was with an unoriginal background, just like when she had and lived with the Kramer surname.
